Semaglutide is a game changer in medical weight loss for many reasons! It is an FDA-approved injection medication that has been proven to aid in weight loss and help keep weight off! Semaglutide mimics Glucagon-Like Peptide-1 (GLP-1) in the body, which can increase insulin secretion and slow down gastric emptying. This is the body's function of your stomach emptying food. This can suppress your appetite, which helps you eat less and lose weight.
This medication is used to help control blood sugar levels in type 2 diabetes, but it has been shown to increase the ability to lose weight.
While using Semaglutide, one can expect to have a lowered relative preference for fatty, energy-dense foods. Results also show a weight loss average of 14.9% from baseline after 68 weeks (about 16 months). About 70% of patients achieve a weight loss of at least 10%, about 50% achieve a weight loss of at least 15%, and about 33% of participants lost at least 20%.
Many of our clients have experienced a weight loss of around 5 pounds in the first week of using Semaglutide! While the average weight loss is two pounds per week, most of our clients routinely surpass this rate of weight loss!
Because the FDA has approved this injection medication to be compounded at pharmacies, making this product cheaper and stronger than brands such as Ozempic®. Many who take Ozempic® consistantly pay upwards of $2,000 per month. Having this substance available through compounding pharmacies is a breakthrough for our patients!

Semaglutide is a once-weekly injectable medication that can be administered by one of our trained healthcare professionals, or you can take it home and administer it to yourself.
Most will start on a small dose– increasing it until an appropriate dosage is reached. Dosage may vary between patients, as well as results.
On average, patients can expect to lose one-two pounds a week– if the patient maintains a routine of taking Semaglutide.
Semaglutide may be used to improve blood sugar control (also called glycemic control) in people with type 2 diabetes alongside diet modification and increased exercise. It also reduces the risk of future cardiovascular events, such as a heart attack or stroke, in people with type 2 diabetes who also have heart disease. Semaglutide may reduce the risk of new or worsening nephropathy in people with type 2 diabetes at high risk for or with existing cardiovascular disease. It may also be used with a prescription of Phentermine as well as weekly usage of B12 shots.
Semaglutide is available as a once-weekly prefilled injection that is given subcutaneously (under the skin). The injection is given once a week, on the same day each week (for example, every Monday).
The dosage of semaglutide does not need to be adjusted in people with kidney or liver disease.
